Europe 1964

On each page, you can click on the postcards to read

Rowing on the lake at Neuchatel.

Paris from my bedroom window.

We did all the things
visitors to Paris do...

A show at the Moulin Rouge
a trip in a bateau mouche...

Judy and the Eiffel Tower.

Napoleon's Tomb.
We had a long drive through France, spending a night in Chalon-sur-Saone on the way to Paris. Before we reached Paris we had a picnic in the forest of Fontainbleu. It was fun buying French bread, wine, cheese, etc for this. In those days we had not been exposed to foreign food in the way we take it for granted today.

Paris itself was everything we hoped it would be.
