Europe 1964

A collection of sugar wrapping papers from various establishments! It is amusing to see that the most accessible and identifiable free souvenirs were sugar wrappers and match books - today these must be more difficult to find as few people smoke or use sugar nowadays!

Most evenings I found a little place to have something to eat. There were lots and lots of these in Earls Court. The only thing I remember about food prices was that one day we met up with Barney - the tour courier - and had lunch together. We went to his choice of restaurant and I was scandalised at having to pay 10/6 for a meal (it was roast beef.)
